Originating from Lincoln, Nebraska, Daniel is a distinguished pianist and composer, acclaimed for his ability to evoke powerful emotions thru his music. He holds a master’s degree in Piano Performance from the UMKC Conservatory and a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Hastings College.

He has cultivated a musical voice that gracefully merges classical elements, cinematic qualities and minimalist characteristics. His main vehicle is the piano merged w/ electronics/percussion and Daniel’s compositions resonate w/ both seasoned musicians and casual listeners, creating a profound impact on adverse audience.

In addition to his solo projects, he has established a niche full-time career writing music for dance. He has worked w/ notable companies such as Jacob Jonas, Whim Whim, Salt Dance, and most recently the Kansas City Ballet Company to name a few. His music has been listened to over 100 million times and featured in countless films worldwide. Philip also maintains an active performing career, touring throughout the US in the fall and spring.

Daniel currently resides in Lincoln, Nebraska with his wife, dog and daughter.
