This Privacy and Security Policy and Disclosure of Personal Information (“the Policy”) is issued by The Butte Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. (“BCPA”, “we”, “our”) and is subject to change at anytime without notice. A current copy of the Policy will be posted at this website location for review.
Any person or entity (“user”, “you”, “your”) utilizing this website and/or any sub-host domain websites operated by BCPA or third party vendors shall be bound by the Policy in its entirety without exclusion or compromise.
BCPA is committed to keeping your personal information strictly confidential. Only BCPA, its third party ticket processing vendor, and the organization presenting the performance for which tickets were purchased will retain your information. When we collect your personal information (i.e. name, address, e-mail, and telephone number) it is in an effort to improve your transaction experience, potentially notify you of schedule updates, provide requested services and provide support. Beyond the presenting organization for your event and our third party ticketing processor, it is our policy not to disclose any of your personal information at any time, unless you authorize us to do so, or unless we receive a valid and legal subpoena to provide such information to a government agency or to a legal entity authorized to receive same. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties, however we may use said information for our own marketing purposes. From time to time we may share aggregated (collective) information about users as a group, or generate aggregate reports and market research for business partners. These reports will not identify individual members.
Server Logs and Website Analytics:
Our application servers store your IP address, information regarding your web browser, PC operating systems and the like in standard server logs. We use this information to diagnose problems, optimize, and maintain our servers and insure a secure server environment. We also may use this information in aggregate to provide statistics to our members. We also utilize various third party web analytics code through our website as does our third party ticketing processor. Said analytics code is used with various web based analytics processors to provide information to us about all accesses to our websites, and is also used by analytics processors to gather information about web traffic and trends worldwide. The gathering of web analytics information does not include any personal identification information about website users, but does include a complete analysis of IP traffic origination, destination, session times and various data including but not limited to your IP address, information regarding your web browser, PC operating system, etc.
We and/or our third party ticketing processor use industry-standard methods to protect your information from unauthorized access. We typically store such information on a computer behind a “firewall” or similar device in a secure location, and we restrict the number of employees internally who can access such data. To ensure the safety of your personal information, including your billing information (such as credit/debit card numbers), we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Technology. SSL protects information as it crosses the Internet. Any data stored is kept on applications servers in a secure offsite location and password-protected.
